First Assignment

WELCOME FIRST COURSE STUDENTS!!
Your first assignment is to tell me a little bit about what you expect this year in First Course Language Arts. What are some of your goals this year? What would you like to learn? What are you excited about in this class or in general for your first year of secondary school? What are your fears your hopes? I need to know what you want to get out of this year because we are IN THIS TOGETHER this is OUR CLASS. If you want to improve your reading, writing nd speaking in English this year, you will!! I need your support and interest to make this year valuable, so let me know WHAT YOU WANT!! (write at least 150 words IN ENGLISH!!!)

    You do not need to purchase the Elements of Literture book, the school lends those textbooks to the students, they will be receiving their books this week.

    Hi Mr. Dixon,my name is Carlos.I really want to learn more english so when I go to Florida or any part of USA I can talk a lot of english with people in there. My goals is to have really good notes ,and to be a very good student.I am very anxious and nervous.Anxious because I want to learn new things like Life Science,Biology, chemistry,and other things like Reading, speaking,and writting for understand more things when I read a book or anything, and nervous because I don't know what will happen ahead in classes like if the teachers are good or brave.
    When I grow I want to be a Doctor.I will want to be in a better level but I can't so next year I will try to be in a better level.

    Hi My name is Alicia from 1st North Carolina!I wish to have a good grade in 1st course! My mom and my dad wish that i get 80 up because they think that i am perfect or kind of that!They want that i get a patch of bronce or the best patch.But i know that i have differents kinds of problems like Math a little big,ecology is a little big confuse,etc. But i know that i will get great notes in that materials!I just want to say Hi and i wish a got good grades in Languge Arts and other materials like math,life science social studies,ectI don't know what to say so i will say good luck in your work like teacher!

    hi!!!! Mr. Dixon. I want to learn more english because when i will go to USA i can say that i now english so that the other people dont started at me like that i dont know english.I want to chat with miss Cristina beacause i miss her. Im afraid because the teachers are more estrict than primary like miss Laura, Mr. Erbozo etc.......... I want to get super notes so my parents be happy with me.
